Don Baker Appointed National Head of Rating

CVS, the fast growing business rates specialist, has recruited Don Baker to lead its team of rating surveyors as National Head of Rating.

The company, which is expanding rapidly under Chief Executive Mark Rigby and has already made a number of senior appointments this year, is seeking to double the size of its client list within the next two years.

Don, who brings more than 35 years of experience in business rates, joins CVS from Colliers International UK Ltd, where he was a Director. He has previously worked extensively across the UK on behalf of the Valuation Office Agency as the Statutory Valuation Officer.

At CVS, he will be responsible for the management and development of CVS’s team of national rating surveyors as well as ensuring professional standards and excellence in client servicing.

Don Baker will lead CVS’s team of approximately 25 qualified RICS rating surveyors working nationally from CVS’s offices in London and Manchester. Don will be based in the London office.
