Growth drive sees eight new appointments made to further fuel national expansion

CVS, the fast growing business rates specialist, has increased the size of its national rating surveying team by 25% to service the growing demand for its business rates services.

The firm has announced eight new appointments with staff joining across its London, Manchester and Bristol offices. All of the new staff will report to Don Baker who joined CVS as National Head of Rating in April 2011.

CVS is seeking to double the size of its client list within the next two years. It is pursuing an aggressive national expansion strategy under Chief Executive Mark Rigby who joined in October 2010 with a remit to build the business and develop the firm’s position as the UK’s leading business rates specialists.

The eight new appointments are:
- Tania Hibble: joins as Regional Director for the London & South East region
- Mike Brown: joins as a Surveyor for the London & South East region
- Adam Cole: joins as a Surveyor for the Midlands region
- Paul Ellis: joins as a Surveyor for the South West region
- Paula Field: joins as a Surveyor for the Midlands region
- David Fulvio: joins as a Senior Surveyor for the South West region
- Adam Hanley: joins as a Surveyor for the London & South East region
- Kevin Stevenson: joins as an Associate Director for the North West region

The eight new staff will join CVS's existing team of 29 professional rating surveyors. Where CVS lodges a successful appeal, it typically saves the client just over 9% on its business rates costs.
