New office now open in Bristol and further senior appointments made

CVS, the fast growing business rates specialist, is stepping up the pace of its national expansion drive based on solid half year figures and confidence in the business rates market. The firm, which appointed Mark Rigby as Chief Executive in 2010 to lead the firm's corporate growth, has confirmed that it is opening a third UK office, in Bristol, and has recruited two senior new executives.

CVS is seeking to double the size of its client list within the next two years. It specialises in delivering straightforward business rates advice to occupiers nationwide and is seeing a strong appetite for its no-nonsense and streamlined approach to helping occupiers reduce their business rates bills. It typically saves its clients 12% on their bills.

The new Bristol office will be home to 13 CVS staff to add to the 190 people already working from the company's Manchester and London offices. It will bring CVS surveyors closer to clients in the South West, bolstering CVS's national reach.

Steve and Sam will be based in CVS's Manchester office.

These important additions to the team follow the recruitment in April of Don Baker as National Head of Rating and significant investment in developing CVS's business rates capability.
