By becoming an Affiliate you are able to bolt-on CVS' business rates reduction services to your existing portfolio of client services, providing your company with an additional revenue stream thanks to a generous commission structure.
Referral Fees
CVS has devised a tiered incentive scheme where referral fees reflect the value of any premises on which your clients’ make an appeal, and the size of any likely rates reduction. These fees are payable to you within within 28 days of the rating agreement being received and this payment is not dependent on the outcome of the appeal.

How does the introduction process work?
We will never approach your client directly. We will, however, furnish you with all the collateral you might need to make initial contact and bring our services to the attention of your clients. Your email 'Starter Pack' will include a variety of marketing tools to promote your new service to your clients including press releases, letter templates and website copy. Details of how your clients can then make contact with CVS are included within each document and once the introduction has been effected, any future communication will be directly between your client and CVS.

Will a CVS representative be dealing with my client?
Yes. Due to our people having all the requisite experience, once contact has been made between your client and CVS, an experienced member of the CVS team will handle the process from that point onwards.

How does my company earn its referral fees and what are the rates?
Every case is different and the amount payable will be directly in line with the size of the saving made by your client. Please see the ‘Referral Fee’ rates as included in your information pack. To request a pack call 0800 644 6029.

When will the referral fees be paid?
Referral fees will be paid within 28 days of the Rating Agreement being received.

How long will each rating appeal take?
This will not affect your company as we pay fees in advance however from your clients’ perspective, each case is different but as a general rule, most cases take between 12-18 months to be completed. However, every effort is made to ensure that the process is completed as quickly as possible.

Is the referral fee a ‘one-off’ payment?
A one-off referral fee or, if you prefer, a success fee can be arranged for each client introduced that instructs us.
Where clients sign up for more than one ratings list a second referral fee will be due and payable at the start of the next rating list, giving you a renewable revenue. -
How will I promote this service to my client?
When you sign up to the CVS Affiliates scheme, you will receive a 'Starter Pack' offering a suite marketing tools to promote the service to your clients and peer press. You are under no obligation to use these and should you decide to, you are free to change any wording as you see fit but each document has been written in such a way as to encourage your clients to make contact with CVS from where we will takeover and manage the process through to completion.

What if I change my mind?
The arrangement can be terminated at any time by providing 28 days written notice.
