As a leading business, the CVS team is proud to support charitable projects and communities. We focus our efforts on a small number of particular projects where our involvement can make a real difference.

CVS Chief Executive Mark Rigby is a regular contributor to Speakers for Schools. Mark offers talks on his experience in growing successful businesses as well as professional sport.
2017 Nominated Charity
Each year, CVS nominate and support a Charity of the Year for which, through a packed plan of activities, we actively raise funds. Throughout 2017 we are proud to be supporting Alzheimer’s Society.
Dementia can happen to anyone and there’s currently no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and the number is set to rise to 1 million by 2021. At Alzheimer’s Society, there is a passionate belief that life doesn’t end when dementia begins and they are there for anyone affected by dementia, doing everything they can to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
The CVS team has smashed our fundraising target for the past three years, and this year we have increased our efforts with a jam packed year of fundraising activities. Keep track of our fundraising events on our LinkedIn page.

Christmas 2016 saw CVS pledge to support Mission Christmas, a fundraising campaign held each year by charity organisation, Cash for Kids. In Manchester the charity works in conjunction with local radio station Key 103.
Mission Christmas helps to make Christmas special for over 300,000 children and young people nationwide by delivering Christmas gifts to those who otherwise wouldn’t receive any presents to open. The 2016 Key 103 Cash for Kids appeal proved to be a huge success, and they were able to support 61,874 local children with £2,897,259 of gifts and cash donated.
CVS was proud to support Mission Christmas 2016 and we look forward to our involvement over the festive period 2017.
