The countdown has begun.

For the first time, business rates will be managed through the Government Gateway – a system which allows access to national and local online government services safely and securely.
Ratepayers will be required to set up a secure online account to manage the process. Rental data along with any supporting documentation and information is then to be submitted. The Gateway enables people to communicate and make transactions with government from a single access point. As part of our professional and comprehensive service, CVS can help to guide you through this new process.
CVS’ commitment to improve the rates process for businesses continues, and our dialogue with the Valuation Office Agency has included recommendations to improve the digital service, specifically in terms of format and procedure.
Over the last 17 years, CVS has helped clients to save over £700 million – savings achieved over successive Ratings lists, working within the ever changing business rate landscape. Our team has the experience to navigate the evolving business rates system, consistently achieving the most favourable results for our clients. With the right professional advice, ratepayers can assess whether their rateable value is correct and whether they are paying the correct amount.
