Colin Gibson MRICS

Colin Gibson is a very experienced Rating Surveyor having been in the Rating business for some 45 years. Colin started in the Valuation Office as a Valuation Clerk then having obtained his professional qualifications rose through the ranks to become Deputy District Valuer and Valuation Officer. He left the Valuation Office after some 30 years of service and joined CVS where he is the Rating Surveyor for the North East of England and North Yorkshire specialising in the Rating of Public Houses and Hotels.

Paul Burnett (Head of Rating)

Paul Burnett is one of CVS’s most experienced rating Surveyors, having worked in the rating business for his entire career, which spans 35 years. Starting in the Valuation Office as a Valuation Clerk, Paul rose through the ranks to Valuation Executive before moving from the public sector to private to expand his all round rating experience. After working in various firms, he finally established himself as the CVS Rating Surveyor for Yorkshire & Lincolnshire. Following 3 successful years, Paul was promoted to Head of Rating, and is now responsible for the entire nationwide network of CVS surveyors. He is a specialist in the following areas: -
